Mission:

Rooted in our belief in the importance of human dignity, we are dedicated to empowering young mothers to create opportunities for themselves and their children and to build healthy relationships in the community.

Services Provided: 

• Supportive Counseling – provided through in office or home/community visits, to support young pregnant and parenting women with the transition to parenting, community resources, emotional support, and case management.
• Education Services – Specialized classroom for pregnant and parenting women under 20 years of age to complete high school credits
• Group Programs – 6-8 week parenting programs and personal development programs are offered on an ongoing basis
• Outreach Programs – Young Parent Programs are offered in 5 community sites throughout York Region as well as Canadian Prenatal Nutrition programs. 
• Rosie’s Closet – Supported by the community and facilitated by volunteers, this programs helps support young mothers with food and practical needs for themselves and their children.
• Child Development Center- Daycare and development support services on site.
