Mission:
Rose Haven serves women and children experiencing the trauma of abuse, loss of home and other disruptive life challenges. Rose Haven’s mission is to maintain a safe, respectful community while providing our guests with support and services to assist them in regaining stability in their lives.
Services Provided:
- Advocacy
Issues such as, housing, domestic violence, financial assistance, drug and alcohol dependence, securing identification papers, legal referrals, education as well as medical and mental health referrals. Also work with other agencies to provide school supplies, diapers, clothing, strollers, etc. - Classes and Groups
Creative Arts, Career Assistance, Life Skills, Other Groups and Activities - Message Center
Provide phone, voice mail, US mail service as well as access to a copier and fax machine. - Medical Programs
Meet with various nurses and student nurses about their medical concerns; get advice on nutrition, medication, footcare and other health related topics. - Hospitality
Focused on meeting each woman where she is in her life and providing support for our guests to see all the opportunities available to them in life. - Our Shop
Open during our hospitality hours and by appointment. Women are eligible to shop for much needed clothing and hygiene items every thirty days at no cost. - Community
Within our community our guests have the opportunity to make friends and move out of the isolation and loneliness that encircles those who have no home or live in tiny one room apartments.
