Associates

St. Mary Euphrasia had many trusted lay people whom she relied upon as advisors and partners. We, as Good Shepherds, continue to deeply value and depend on our many partnerships with our lay collaborators.

Good Shepherd Associates are men and women who are attracted by the spirituality and mission of the Good Shepherd Congregation and seek to express Good Shepherd values in their lives.  Currently there are approximately 250 Associates in 12 States and in 3 Provinces in Canada.

Active Associates commit themselves to seek out and respond to people by shaping their lives after the Good Shepherd. They have a special sensitivity to oppressed people. Associates share in the spiritual riches and heritage of the Good Shepherd Congregation and support one another by participation in joint study of Good Shepherd spirituality, participating in days of prayer and retreats, and volunteer participation and support of Good Shepherd programs.

Prayer Associates commit themselves to daily prayer for the mission of the Good Shepherd Family.
