Focus of Program: Home of the Good Shepherd operate two transitional housing programs in St.Paul MN for women who are homeless and at-risk:

-Rose Center (young women age 18-24)

-Wellsprings Living Center (women age 25 and above)

Combined capacity is 27 residents.  Our programs are non-discriminatory and non-sectarian in all aspects.  We provide women the necessary space for physical and and psychological healing while they address realistic goals for employment, housing and education.

At your request we will send a short DVD which highlights stories of some women in our programs. To receive a copy, contact

Our philosophy is grounded on belief in the uniqueness, potential, worth and dignity of every individual.  Our successes demonstrate that positive self-esteem, self-respect and acceptance of personal responsibility are crucial to breaking the cycle of poverty and increasing the possibility for change.  This philosophy, along with the commitment, expertise and experience of our program staff and network of community resources are the strengths of our programs.
