Our Mission
Rooted in our belief in the importance of human dignity, we are dedicated to empowering young mothers to create opportunities and build healthy relationships in the community.

Our Philosophy
We believe that each individual is precious and unique in the eyes of God.  We respect the dignity of each person as reflected in the diversities of sex, religion, culture, race, colour, national origin, and personality.  We endeavor to provide opportunities that will enable young parents to reach their full potential in the areas of social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual growth.  We believe that when individuals receive support from a caring, loving community, they can recognize their goodness and ultimately use their strengths for their own benefit and that of their children.  Our philosophy is based on Catholic values and traditions.

Programs & Services-

• Outreach Program:
  Community based services to connect with young mothers to provide a network of support, teaching and counseling
• School Program:
  The Rose offers an on-site school program to assist young mothers to obtain required high school credits during and after their pregnancy.
• Day Care:
  To support young mothers to achieve their academic goals, the Rose offers on-site daycare during school hours.
• Early Childhood Development and Education:
  The Rose offers a range of individual and group programs to support healthy physical, emotional and social development in babies and toddlers.
• Counseling Services:
  Each participant in programs at the Rose has an assigned counselor to oversee their adjustment to parenthood and provide a range of social work services.
• Community Education:
  While staff provide a range of community presentations on the issues affecting young single parents, there is a special emphasis on training and empowering young moms to do public speaking especially in local high schools and grade schools on teen pregnancy in order to address their peer groups about the growing needs.
