e-mail: dwilson@collierservices.comJET is a Job Experience and Training program for high-risk teenagers that combines mentoring, life-skills training, and incentive-based, paid work experience at Kateri Day Camp. Through JET, teens are given instruction in such areas as resume writing, workplace behavior, conflict resolution, and drug and alcohol awareness while also completing specific tasks to maintain the grounds or to assist with camp activities. The JETs also enjoy 45 minutes of personal recreation time daily, in which they may swim or participate in camp activities.
