Focus of Program: Partial hospitalization is a non-residential treatment modality which includes psychiatric, psychological, social, vocational elements under medical supervision.  It is designed for adolescents with moderate to severe emotional disorders.  Adolescents admitted into partial hospitalization require less than twenty-four hour care, but more intensive and comprehensive services than are offered in outpatient treatment programs.   Three partial hospitalization programs are provided: one is campus-based, the second is in a public high school (both are six hours each day), and the third is in a public intermediate school (three hours each day).

Partial Hospitalization provides a full range of clinical and support services within the context of a secondary school setting.  Working within their area of expertise, staff relate to the adolescents not only in their individual professional roles, but also as members of a treatment team which is given focus by Individualized Treatment Plans.  Parent participation is integral in every aspect of the program.
