General Information: Founded in 1889 in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Lourdesmont is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation.

Lourdesmont offers a continuum of residential, day, in-home, and outreach services for girls and boys experiencing adjustment difficulties and their families, as well as a distinct mediation/conflict resolution center.

C. Secondary School: The secondary school located on campus for grades seven through twelve is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education State Board of Private Academic Schools.  Classroom teachers and dialy transportation are provided through collaboration with the local Intermediate Unit (Northeastern Educational Intermediate Unit).  Individual Educational Plans are developed for all students based on previous achievement, present functioning, and future educational goals.  They are coordinated with the Individualized Treatment Plans.
