Focus of Program: The shelter (capacity six) is operated in collaboration with Lackawanna County Children and Youth Services and Lackawanna County Juvenile Probation for children and youth residing in Lackawanna County who need a place to live on an emergency basis.  The shelter does not serve runaway children and youth.  All placements are made by staff from these county agencies and they remain active with their cases throughout the clients stays in shelter.

The shelter is located in a separate facility on campus behind the main building.  The milieu simulates a family environment which includes home prepared family-style meals, shared responsibilities, recreational activities.
