Focus of Program: The Agency is licensed to provide alcohol and other drug residential; partial hospitalization; outpatient; and prevention, intervention, and alternative activities.  Some alcohol and other drug services are integrated into other programs and some are discrete services.

Each client admitted into the residential and day treatment/partial hospitalization programs participate in a formal alcohol and other drug assessment which enables the substance abuse counselor to formulate an individualized treatment plan.   (If indicated, a recommendation will be made for admission into an alcohol and other drug rehabilitation center before continuing with Agency's program.)

Substance abuse education, group therapy, and individual counseling are available.  the educational sessions are presented in a mini-course format once each week for ten weeks and the repeated with another class.  the curriculum includes the effects of substance abuse, the disease of alcoholism, and how it affects various family members.  A separate course on AIDS education is offered to all clients.

Weekly Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) are held on campus to facilitate participation in these programs.  All AA meetings are conducted by members of local AA groups.   Arrangements are made for residents to participate in AA in the community, if they seek greater involvement in this program.
