Focus of Program: St. Helena's is a long-term residence for 21 adolescent girls who are unable to live at home and have been referred by the Family Courts and/or the NYC Administration for Children's Services.  Agency social workers and support staff seek to create a warm, nurturing environment where each girl and family can resolve personal problems while the young person attends a community school.  Services include therapeutic milieu and full range of social services, behavioral health, medical, educational, vocational, counseling, recreational, independent life skills training, and advocacy services.  Intensive outreach to families and significant others to achieve reconciliation.

Focus of Program: The Supervised Independent Living Program provides transitional apartment living for young women preparing to move to independent living in the community.  Minimal structure and supervision.  Services include counseling, independent living and life-skills development, vocational training, job readiness, and medical care.  Apartment in upper Manhattan has the capacity for three young women.
